Descriptive Notes:
Based on Waldseemuller's map (see NOR 0149). Border and ornament are by Hans Holbein and Graf. The reissued map includes three kings on their thrones, an elephant, a cockatrice and two serpents, while the King of Portugal rides a bridled sea monster.
